Up-do Hair Style

Up-do hairstyles are extremely elegant and sophisticated and can be worn on both formal as well as casual occasions. They add an extra spark to your overall personality and are some of the best options for weddings, proms, dinners and cocktail events.

Our hairstyle plays an important role in making the first impression and speaks volumes about our personality. Up-do hairstyles make you look chic as well as neat. They also tend to stay out of the way enabling you to enjoy each moment to the fullest.

Types of Up-do Hairstyles:

Elegant Up-do: This hairdo is styled around a tight ponytail that is secured atop the crown in the shape of a fan. At the base the style is settled on the crown towards the back of the head and can be sported with sexy bangs as well. This up-do looks great on all face shapes, particularly thin facial structures. It is best designed with medium to long hair lengths and looks awesome on fine to thin hair textures.

Ringlets Up-do: This sleek up-do looks great on naturally curly or wavy tresses of medium thickness. The best length for this type of hairdo is shoulder length or slightly longer. Fine hair might not respond well to this type of hairstyle. Prior to creating this style, you must use a good volumizing shampoo and gel or spray to uplift the hair cuticle. This hairstyle looks great on almost all face cuts, particularly oval and heart shaped faces. It is best suited for medium to long length hairstyles.

Bun style up-do: This charming up-do is extremely sleek and elegant. It looks best on shoulder length or longer hair. It works best on fine or thin hair types and can be decorated with hair pieces and extensions. Straight hair is ideal for creating this style and if you have wavy or curly hair, you need to straighten it with the help of a flat iron. You can brush your hair backwards or make a mid or side parting in the front. Then gather your tresses in a ponytail and secure it tightly at the crown with bob pins. You can use great looking decorative pieces to enhance the bun.

Half-up-do: This elegant hairstyle is made by pinning the tresses while the rest of the hair is left falling down around the shoulders and back. It looks ravishing on all formal occasions and is one of the most charming hairstyles to be sported on a prom or wedding. This hairdo looks great on shoulder length or longer hair with medium thickness. Products required to design this style include styling get, rollers, blow drier and bobby pins.
