Eve Hairstyles: Sweet Sassy Designs

This American singer as well as Grammy Award-winning actress was born on November 10, 1978 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Popularly known as Eve, her full name is Eve Jihan Jeffers. Apart from her acting career, she is also a popular actress. Eve’s first three albums have sold over 7 million copies.

During her childhood in Philadelphia , Eve embarked on music as an interest. She started singing in many choirs. When she made an all-female singing group Dope Girl Posse or D.G.P., the group covered songs from En Vogue and Color Me Badd. First appeared on DJ Clue’s The Professional, Eve made her popular single What Ya Want featuring Nokio of Dru Hill. As the song didn’t do well on the charts, she collaborated with The Roots and Janet Jackson.

In 1999, Eve made her debut Let There Be Eve that made a big hit becoming the second hip-hop album by a woman to enter the Billboard 200 at number one. Following the album, her second album Scorpion was released in 2001. In the album, the single Who’s That Girl guaranteed the rapper her first international success. In the album Let Me Blow Ya Mind performed with Gwen Stefani of No Doubt was a great gig. The song won the Grammy Award for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration. And the album Scorpion eventually went platinum.

Eve’s rapping talent is what many critics appreciate. Her third album Eve-Olution released in summer 2002 peaked at number 6th on Billboard. In the album, Gangsta Lovin performed with Alicia Keys was rated number 2 on the Billboard charts. In the album, the single, Satisfaction was a major success.

Eve, the rapper, appeared on Gwen Stefani's top ten hit ‘Rich Girl’ in 2005. The number ranked number 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the same year. In the year, Eve appeared on the remix of Amerie's #1 U.S. R&B hit, ‘1 Thing’ which was soundtrack of the popular movie Hitch.

As Eve is popular for her duet performance, she appeared on Kelly Rowland's single Like This in 2007. In the same year, the singer made a guest appearance on Maroon 5's second single Wake Up Call in live at 45th at Night.

The rapper has also achieved success in the world of fashion by starting a clothing line titled Fetish. She was ranked 48th on VH1’s ‘50 Greatest Women Of The Video Era show list.
