Kate Beckinsale Hairstyles: Always Seductive Designs

British actress Kate Beckinsale was born on 26 July 1973 in London. She is famous for her roles in popular films like Pearl Harbor (2001), Underworld (2003) and Van Helsing (2004). She is the daughter of late actor Richard Beckinsale and actress Judy Loe. During childhood she attended Private Godolphin and Latymer School, London. Beckinsale is admired for her acting talent and ravishing looks along with her stylish wardrobe. Kate Beckinsale Hairstyles are some of the most gorgeous hairdos in the industry.

As a student, Beckinsale won the W H Smith Young Writers’ competition twice. First was for three short stories and later, for three poems. Beckinsale followed in the footsteps of her parents as she began her acting career. She made her debut in a television film One Against the Wind based on the Second World War. The film was first aired in 1991.

In her first year at Oxford University, Beckinsale was offered a part in Kenneth Branagh’s big-screen film Much Ado About Nothing. The film was an adaptation of Shakespeare’s famous play. After spending her last year of studies in Paris, she decided to quit the university and concentrate on her acting career.

Beckinsale starred in a television film based on Jane Austen’s Emma in 1996. Following her television period, she subsequently appeared in a few films including Shooting Fish and The Last Days of Disco in 1998. Both movies couldn’t make successful box office hits. By that time Beckinsale acted in stage roles like Cold Comfort Farm opposite British silver and small screen notables Rufus Sewell, Eileen Atkins, etc.

Her lead female role in 2001 film Pearl Harbor brought Beckinsale into the spotlight. The film was one of the highest grossing films of the year. In the following years, the actress got big booms with her commercially successful movies like Serendipity (2001), Underworld (2003) and Van Helsing (2004). And in 2005, Beckinsale was a big hit actress for her role in Martin Scorsese’s The Aviator.

Beckinsale was ranked 23th in FHM's ‘100 Sexiest Women in the World’ in 2006. Her sexiness is more of her eyes and hairstyles. She has also been placed at number 16 in Maxim’s ‘HOT 100 in 2003, and number 63 in Stuff’s ‘100 Sexiest Women in the World’ in 2002. Kate Beckinsale Hairstyles are indeed one of her most attractive features that never fail to make a style statement. Let’s observe some of her most talked about hairdos.

Popular Kate Beckinsale Hairstyles:

Up-style Design

When Beckinsale attended the premiere of Snow Angels, she wore an up-style that stole glances from the entire crowd. In the style, the actress trimmed her back locks which were neatly pinned up. The crown was teased to create height and body. The most attractive part was the few loose strands that added a soft finish to the glamorous style. This style is considered to be perfect for any night out.

Luscious Length

Beckinsale looks gorgeous with her tresses styled out in loose waves. In this style, the actress trims her luscious length flowing down to mid-back. With the help of little layering through the edges, the style received a good finishing touch. The front layers sat perfectly to contour her neckline. People having a round face shape will find this style a great option.

Sexy Waves

At the 14th Annual Screen Actors Guild of America Awards, Beckinsale stunned the crowd with her foxy hairstyle. For this style, her mid-lengths to the ends were styled in sexy waves. This design showed off her sassy layers which were cut into the hair graduating upwards. With some regular trims, this soft natural style is easy to maintain for longer periods.

Beautiful Ponytail

Beckinsale looked different from the rest at the 2006 Spike TV Scream Awards with her sassy style. To create the stunning style, she pinned up her hair high into a ponytail to help show off her beautiful facial features. This style which is suitable in any weather condition is one of Beckinsale’s easiest options to re-create.

Perfect Layers

At the 2006 MTV Movie Awards, Beckinsale trimmed her hair which was left down absolutely straight. The full shaped face framing layers were cut to create a soft look around her sexy face. Those with medium to fine hair can wear this style in its finest way.
