Natalie Portman Hairstyles: Beautiful Jagged Layers

Israeli-American actress Natalie Portman was born on June 9, 1981 in Jerusalem, Israel. She began her career in the early 1990s as an actress. When she was young she was trying to become a model. But she turned down the fashion opportunity in favor of acting. In filmdom she made her first debut in the 1994 independent film Leon: The Professional. But it couldn’t give her career a boost in the industry. She was widely recognized in her role of Padmé Amidala in the Star Wars prequel trilogy. Portman received a Golden Globe Award as Best Supporting Actress for her role in the drama Closer in 2005.

At school, Portman was a straight student. Despite her non-religious family, she attended a Jewish elementary school, the Solomon Schechter Day School of Glen Cove, New York. After she graduated from Syosset High School , Portman reportedly skipped the premiere of Star Wars: Episode I so she could study for her high school final exams.

Portman graduated from Harvard College in 2003. Portman co-authored two research papers which were published in professional scientific journals while she was a student. And her 1998 high school paper on the ‘Enzymatic Production of Hydrogen’ was entered in the Intel Science Talent Search.

Portman’s career graph is an irregular stairway to success. At 4, she started dancing lessons. At 10, a Revlon agent asked her to become a child model. Scrapping all of them, she focuses on acting. In an interview, Portman said that she was different from the other kids. “I was more ambitious, I knew what I liked and what I wanted, and I worked very hard. I was a very serious kid.”

Even in her school days, Portman spent her holidays attending theater camps. When she was 10, she auditioned for Ruthless!, a play about a girl who is prepared to commit murder. She was chosen as the understudy for Laura Bell Bundy. In addition to all her talents, she looks like a model. She is admired for her elegant style and subtle image. Natalie Portman Hairstyles are some of her prime assets that never fail to make an impact on her fans. Let’s observe some of the actress’ most famous hairstyles.

PopularNatalie Portman Hairstyles:

Classic Design

In her classic design, Natalie looked like she just stepped out of the 1940s. In this look, she trimmed her tresses letting them free to complement her cute face. She wore this peculiar style at The Darjeeling Limited premiere. This style is suitable for those having oval, oblong, square, heart, and diamond facial shapes. To create this style, the actress uses blow dry technique with some mousse, wax, smoothing shine, and lacquer. This style is great for all formal occasions.

Elegant Look

With her medium length hairstyle, Natalie pulled off a very elegant look at the American Premiere of Paris Je T’Aime. For creating the style, the actress’ sides were cut in multiple layers and the top section was trimmed into medium volume. This style is suitable for those having oval, oblong, square, heart, and diamond shaped facial cuts. The products recommended for this style are mousse and hair spray.

Short and Sexy Design

Portman’s short and sexy hairdo from the 63rd Annual Golden Globe Awards looks fabulous. The length was cut at the shoulder and the top was trimmed slightly to create volume. This style is best with oval or oblong facial cuts. To create this style you need to spare just 10-15 minutes using blow dry and the products recommended for the style include mousse, and molding cream.

Jagged Layers

This is a stylish look for Portman where her jagged layers complement her cute face. For the style, the actress cut the layers to boost curl. In fact, these funky tresses enhance the face. This style is suitable for those having oval, oblong, square, and diamond shape faces. To create this style you can use blow dry and hot rollers. The products recommended are mousse, smoothing shine, and lacquer.

Natalie Portman Hairstyles can be sported with ease and are very fashionable. You can also create these hairdos for most weather conditions and both outdoor as well as in-door events.
