Teri Hatcher was born on December 8, 1964. She is an American actress who became popular for her portrayal of Lois Lane in the television series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. She is also a notable Bond Girl who played Paris Carver in Tomorrow Never Dies in 1997. For her role of Susan Mayer in Desperate Housewives, Hatcher won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in 2005.

Grew up in Sunnyvale , California , Hatcher attended Mango Junior High (now Sunnyvale Middle School ), Fremont High School in Sunnyvale and De Anza College in Cupertino . Then she studied acting at the American Conservatory Theater. She worked as a cheerleader with the San Francisco 49ers in 1984. Hatcher beat out Monica Bellucci for the role of Bond girl in Tomorrow Never Dies. She was three months pregnant when the Bond shooting started.
