The key to cultivating naturally shiny and luxuriant hair lies in following a proper hair care routine on a daily basis. Hair is made up of a protein called keratin. Therefore, it is essential for you to include a number of protein rich foods in your diet such as eggs, soy, meat, chicken, fish, green leafy vegetables, milk, cheese, butter, yogurt etc. It is essential to feed to right quantity of protein both externally as well as internally to your tresses in order to keep them in good health and shape. You can use a number of Protein rinses in order to wash your hair and maintain its shine.

It is necessary for you to take good care of your tresses in order to maintain their shine and gloss. A lusterless mane makes you look unhealthy and dull, whereas a sparkling mane enhances your personality. Grooming is an essential part of any hair care regime. It is essential for you to shampoo, condition, oil and brush your hair everyday. Rinsing is an important part of any grooming program. The outcome of good shampooing and conditioning is determined by thorough rinsing. It helps you get rid of the slightest trace of residue that can be left behind after treating your hair to shampoo and conditioners. Therefore, it is recommended to rinse as much as you can. If soft water is not available for rinsing the hair, you can go in for an apple cider vinegar after shampoo rinse. Well rinsed tresses have a clear, shiny appearance. Rinsing cannot damage or harm your hair.

Protein rinses and hair:

Protein based rinses are great for dry brittle hair. They help fight split ends and nourish the hair, thereby restoring its original shine and health. They are also recommended for curly, frizzy hair that is prone to becoming brittle and lifeless. You can prepare your own home remedies for the final rinse as they are convenient and less expensive. After shampoo rinses do not affect the original hair color and give the hair a better shine and body.

Protein Rinses help to strengthen and lubricate the hair. They help treat colored, frosted, bleached, tainted, straightened and damaged hair, the structure of which has been changed while exposing it to harsh chemicals. Each time the hair undergoes a chemical process, it is stripped off almost 50 per cent of its protein content. This leaves the hair feeling, brittle, dry, lifeless and boring. Rinsing with a good protein helps restore the vitality and suppleness of hair. There are various protein rinses available in the market these days, but you can also concoct your own protein based rinse at home. It is recommended to use them on the days when you are not going out.

Benefits of Protein after Shampoo Rinses:

  • Protein Rinses replace the loss caused by exposing the hair to harsh chemical treatments.
  • Protests and eliminates further damage to the hair shaft.
  • Reduces dry of frizzy hair caused by lack of protein in the hair shaft.
  • Helps reduce hair breakage due to the harmful affect of chemicals.
